This item is somewhat higher in healthy fats. Therefore, it is a great choice to pair with lean meaty bones or used in sport performance diets. Turkey meat is a source of essential amino acids (protein), B vitamins, and other nutrients. Turkey may be a good choice for pets who are intolerant to chicken. White meats are lower in minerals such as zinc and iron, and therefore pair well with red meats.

Turkey is fed an all-vegetarian diet, antibiotic, and hormone-free. Our turkey supplier is Certified Humane and GAP (Global Animal Partnership) approved, providing twice the amount of space in their turkey barns than is required.
Many producers/suppliers are getting away from some of the terminology like "pasture raised", "free range", or even "organic" because those words can easily be manipulated and the consumer believes they are getting something that they are not. We normally feed our pups straight ground turkey breast. But the mix of the thigh and breast makes it tasty for them. A good balance of both, but less fat.
