We have been buying your products since June '22. There has been a marked decline in the quality in the last 5-6 months. We've especially seen this in our dogs' stools. Where it used to be well formed and healthy looking, it is now regularly runny and they clearly struggle to poop. Their coats have also lost their shine and they've started shedding far more than is healthy.
We don't feed our dogs bone in every meal, we've done a lot of trial testing and research about the best combination. We used to order the Boneless Blend with Organ and Tripe, which has not been available in a very long time. So we switched to the Wolf Run (Boneless) which has not been a good replacement. We're not sure if you changed your formula or changed who you source from. But the product is very much lacking and as it is clearly impacting our dogs' health, we are researching other options.

The blends haven't changed. But without enough bone the stools will be runny or loose especially with tripe. It's an easy fix! With our extensive health team we pinpoint and give solutions to pet issues pretty quick! We always review possible toxic issues like flea and tick, heart worm, vaccines, medications, itch medications or whether it's a simple lack of rotation in the diet.
Quick tips: Omega 3's like sardines or the fantastic phytoplankton is great for dry lack lustre and flaky skin or add raw meaty bones to the diet for the amazing vitamin and minerals only found real animal bone which should help the poops and brighten the coat and clean the teeth. Whew! The smell of this food in unbearable. The dog did eat it. I managed not to vomit. I don't want to repeat this experience twice a day, nor smell it rotting further in my trash can. Only for those with a strong stomach and poor sense of smell.

Yes tripe is stinky but oh so good for pets with digestive issues, burpy or farty or picky eaters.
Some people find it unbearable and some hardly smell it at all. But with so many different blends that we offer you can feed raw without tripe and get amazing health results too!

I originally bought this for my kidney impaired dog and was happy it has no bone. However it’s not the right blend for his health needs. I suspect it’s too high in phosphorus not knowing the amount of liver in particular in it I think it raised his blood pressure.

Kidney patients are one of the groups that benefit greatly from a raw diet due to the high moisture. However our health team would recommend the Wolf Run Plus not the boneless blend which is Wolf Run. Wolf Run would be higher in phosphorus due to no bone.
Bone is calcium phosphorus balanced and aids the body in moving the phosphorus out.
Due to the many benefits of real bone in a raw diets we always suggest that Boneless blends be used in accordance with another bone source like chicken feet, duck feet, wings, backs, necks or the better bone freeze dried bone product.
Upon speaking with our health team, High blood pressure is not likely to be a result of a pure raw blend with meat and organs. Blood pressure if on a consistent basis is either genetic to the breed or can be due to other illnesses like hyperthyroidism, or situational stress, medications, or a whole host of factors. However our team is always open to looking at the information on your pups issue that might suggest otherwise.
