Beef Mix is a high-quality, all-natural meal made of ground beef, beef bone, beef heart, beef liver, beef kidney, and beef lung. Beef meat provides essential zinc and iron, while beef liver provides essential copper. The added heart makes this a great blend for puppies and cats. This recipe was formulated to provide a natural source of amino acids, calcium, phosphorus, vitamins, and minerals such as vitamin B12, zinc, and selenium.
Beef is a neutral protein that will work for most dogs. Neutral proteins are a great way to provide a variety without disrupting the digestive system.
Sourcing:
Our protein is sourced only from USDA-inspected and approved-for-human-consumption suppliers. Never ever sourced from feed lots.
Beef is USDA Grade A sourced and antibiotic, steroid, and hormone-free.
Many producers/suppliers are getting away from some of the terminology like "pasture raised", "free range", or even "organic" because those words can easily be manipulated and the consumer believes they are getting something that they are not. Instead we focus on mindful sourcing and hand selecting suppliers who provide products we can trust and believe in.

The quality of the meat is fantastic but there are so many bones and they are big. Both my dogs got very constipated and their poops were hard as rocks. I won’t be able to feed them this everyday.
Thank you for the feedback and for giving our food a try. We’re glad to hear you were happy with the quality of the meat.
With raw bone, some natural inconsistency in size and shape can occur during the grinding process, which is normal for a minimally processed raw product. The bone in our blends is ground, not whole bone, and because it is raw (not cooked), those natural variations do not make it unsafe. Dogs are biologically designed to consume raw bones as part of their diet. Our blends are formulated at approximately 10% bone, which is a fairly standard ratio in raw feeding and generally considered the minimum amount needed to help balance calcium and phosphorus naturally.
Firm stools are also very common on a raw diet and are often a sign of efficient digestion and nutrient absorption. That said, every dog is different, and some dogs can be more sensitive to bone content than others. If stools seem excessively firm, small adjustments can often help, such as adding a bit more hydration in the diet, incorporating additional organ meat, or mixing in some boneless meat or tripe.
We also offer free consultations with our certified nutritionist if you’d ever like help tailoring the diet more specifically to your dogs’ needs.
We appreciate you sharing your experience, as every dog responds a little differently to raw feeding.
Chauncey is new to this diet and so far she LOVES the BEEF MIX and the TURKEY.
Friends have mentioned she is looking great and has more energy.
She is pooing less which I understand is because her body is absorbing more nutrients and there’s less waste.
We are very excited to see more improvements and look forward to more time with my BEST GIRL.
Hi Cori and welcome to the Raw Squad! We're so happy that Chauncey loves his diet and that you are seeing some very common results when you switch to a species-appropriate diet. Fewer and smaller poops is defiantly a benefit and as you said a sign of less waste which is good for both dog and their owners wallet.
We’ve only been feeding raw for about a month and already have seen less itchiness and fewer noxious farts! And he loves the food. 😊 Love this for my sweet greyhound/saluki rescue. I started researching raw food after my 10 year old vizsla died too young eating prescription diet kibble. He should have lived to age 14. Thank you for all the education you do!
Hi Cindy, thank you so much for sharing your experience with the Beef Mix! It's wonderful to hear that your greyhound/saluki rescue is already showing such positive changes after just one month on raw, less itchiness and fewer gas issues are definitely common benefits we hear about when dogs switch to a species-appropriate diet. We're so sorry for the loss of your vizsla, but it sounds like you're giving your current pup the best nutrition possible. Your rescue is so lucky to have someone who cares enough to research and make the switch to raw feeding. Thank you for being part of the Raw Squad and for your kind words about our educational efforts!
