Duck Wings

Duck wings are made up of edible bone, skin, connective tissues, and cartilage that are rich in calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, chondroitin, and glucosamine. These are all essential in supporting healthy joints, good mobility, and in preventing arthritis. Our duck wings are made with antibiotic-free, hormone-free, and non-GMO duck and come with skin on. Wings are higher in fat and pair well with lean meats. On average, duck wings are made up of 39% bone and 61% meat and can be fed as a snack or the meaty bone component of a DIY diet.  Their calcium content is similar to chicken at 0.92g of calcium per 100 grams of wings. Suitable for dogs as a whole bone, cats should just get the wing tips.  A cleaver cuts through these very easily.

Monitor your dog’s consumption of bones.

Sourcing:

Our protein is sourced only from USDA-inspected and approved-for-human-consumption suppliers.  Never ever sourced from feed lots.

Duck is antibiotic and hormone-free.

Many producers/suppliers are getting away from some of the terminology like "pasture raised", "free range", or even "organic" because those words can easily be manipulated and the consumer believes they are getting something that they are not.  Instead we focus on mindful sourcing and hand selecting suppliers who provide products we can trust and believe in.

    Jolene’s thoughts

I thought they were great but the puppy is a little diva and you have to hold the wing for her to eat it.

Glad you liked them. Having to hold the bone for a puppy is actually pretty common. It is also a helpful tip to teach a dog to slow down a bit when it comes to raw meaty bones. I don't think you will have to hold it forever.

    Great

At first my dog just walked around with it in his mouth. After a while he learned to eat it.

    Fun bone!

I’ve been trying out different meaty bones and the hardest part is dealing with the partial thaw and separating. This one definitely isn’t the hardest, necks are more challenging! But it’s still probably my least favorite part of a new package.

Besides that, my pups really enjoy eating them! Fun shape, long, crunchy and chewy. The bone content does seem to affect their stools, making for a little constipation, but nothing new to my understanding. We’ll just have one once a week as a rotating snack :)
