Feeding Guide — All Life Stages

Feed ½ cup per 4 lbs of body weight daily, split into morning and evening portions. Kittens may need up to twice the adult amount. To rehydrate, add ½ cup of hot water per 1 cup of dry food, let cool, and serve immediately. Discard any leftovers and always provide fresh drinking water.

With freeze-dried pet food, the bag size reflects the dehydrated product. As a result, an  8oz bag does not equal 1 cup of food when rehydrated. Once water is added, an  8oz bag typically yields approximately 6-7 cups of prepared food.

It's also worth noting that feeding guidelines are generally based on AAFCO life-stage profiles and often represent a higher amount of food than many pets actually require. Individual feeding needs can vary based on factors such as age, activity level, metabolism, and body condition.
