Turkey Mix

Ingredients:
Ground
Turkey

Turkey Bone

Turkey Heart

Turkey Liver

Turkey Kidney

Turkey Gizzards

Benefits:

Ideal for raw feeders because it provides the foundational ingredients of a raw diet – muscle meat, bone, and organs.

This recipe was formulated to provide a natural source of amino acids, calcium, phosphorus, vitamins, and minerals.

Turkey is very protein dense and an excellent source of iron, B vitamins, selenium, potassium, phosphorus, and zinc.

Turkey contains softer, more cartilaginous bone and will work well for the immediate transition from kibble to raw.

Beef is USDA Grade A sourced and antibiotic, steroid, and hormone-free.

Chicken is antibiotic, steroid, and hormone-free.

    Duck is antibiotic and hormone-free.

Turkey is fed an all-vegetarian diet, antibiotic, and hormone-free. Our turkey supplier is Certified Humane and GAP (Global Animal Partnership) approved, providing twice the amount of space in their turkey barns than is required.

Pork is antibiotic-free. As industry pioneers with progressive crate-free and group housing practices, our suppliers house sows in group pens that allow them to get up and turn around freely at all times. They are provided 24+ sq. ft. of usable floor space per sow where she has freedom of movement, social interaction, and access to sufficient feed and water.

    Rabbits are domestic-raised rabbits only.

    Lamb are grass-fed and finished.

Seafood is wild-caught and undergoes Individual Quick Freezing

Fruits and vegetables are grown domestically.

Many producers/suppliers are getting away from some of the terminology like "pasture raised", "free range", or even "organic" because those words can easily be manipulated and the consumer believes they are getting something that they are not.  Instead we focus on mindful sourcing and hand selecting suppliers who provide products we can trust and believe in.

      My dog’s favorite mix

While I rotate proteins for my dog, this is the staple mix we always go back to.

He’s been eating raw since he was a puppy and for 5 years with Raw Dog Food and Co. He is super healthy and active and we could not be happier with our choice to feed raw.

Thanks Sara, glad your dog has a favorite. Still rotating is a good idea to prevent boredom, but we all have our favorite foods and our pups are no different. Thank you for being a long-time and loyal customer!

      Turkey mix

I wish the raw turkey mix was a bit more firm and not so watery

      Hi Lisa,
Thank you for the feedback on the turkey mix. We understand that the consistency and texture can vary but that is what makes real food real. So many things about the animal, from temperature, season, where they ate, everything can affect how the food comes out. As much as we would like to always see consistency, we know that is not realistic when dealing with real food from real animals in real conditions. The dogs don't seem to mind, even if we do. I don't know if you feed green tripe at all, but that can often be mixed with the softer blends to "firm" them up. That might be something you could try and see if that works for you. Again, thank you for your feedback and for your continued support.
