We introduced Hans, our new wirehaired wiener about a week after we got him. Our breeder is a proponent, even though her litters have kibble. He loved it instantly - we had to get him a slow feeder bowl as well as Gretel, his 2 yo big sister (actually they really do have the same parents and were born the same day - 2 years apart).
I love that I don't have to guess what to feed with the mixed box blend and I appreciate your feeding chart, the Vet said it is right on - and just keep watching him and weighing him. We have added fish and bones. WE LOVE RAW! Have been using it since 2019 with the predecessor to these two, Liesl. And yes, they have beautiful coats, great tummies, good poops, are never thirsty or itchy and are happy dogs.

I really like variety of the meat and the fact the it is packaged in a roll. I leave the frozen roll overnight in the fridge and then slice it (with the packaging still on) into equal portions in the morning. Because it's not totally unfrozen it is very easy to slice and handle. Since I feed twice a day (down from three) I weigh each slice to determine how much I need per meal. My GSD, Izzi, who has been eating raw since she was weaned, gobbles it down.
