RAW FEEDING 101
Why Feed Raw? Because It Works.
When you feed your dog real food, your dog looks different. Acts different. Smells different. You can see it in their coat, their teeth, their energy, and their stool within a few weeks. The science backs it up. So does 20+ years of watching it happen with our own and customers' dogs.

Benefits You Don't See (But Your Dog Feels)
The visible changes are the beginning. Here's what's happening on the inside.
-
Stronger Digestive System
About 70 percent of your dog's immune system lives in the gut. A clean, fresh-real food diet strengthens that foundation from day one.
-
Stronger Immune System, Better Organ Function
Whole-food nutrition supports every organ the way synthetic processed food simply cannot. Real food, real nutrients, real absorption.
-
Fewer Allergies and Allergy Symptoms
When gut flora is not compromised by high-carb kibble, candida yeast, and synthetics, the body naturally fights allergens and toxins better.
-
Essential Amino Acids and Enzymes
Cooking kills digestive enzymes and denatures proteins. Raw keeps both intact so your dog gets the full nutritional value of real raw food.
-
Lower Inflammation, Fewer Joint Issues
High-carb diets drive systemic inflammation and tax the kidneys and liver. Raw feeding reduces that load, which often shows up as easier movement.
-
Slower Aging, Longer Life
Processed high-carb diets are linked to cancer, pancreatitis, and diabetes. Real raw food supports longevity. The payoff is more healthy years with your dog.
Friends Don't Let Friends Feed Kibble
Here's why...

What kibble is
Kibble is a highly processed, shelf-stable food product. It is extruded at high heat, which kills enzymes and denatures proteins. It requires grains, fillers, or binders to hold its shape. And because nutrients are destroyed during manufacturing, synthetic vitamins and minerals are sprayed on at the end. The body has to struggle to eat what it's never meant to eat.
What raw is
Raw is meat, organ, and bones plus a few other whole food ingredients. No extrusion. No heat-kill of enzymes. No synthetic vitamin spray. What is in the bowl is the same food your dog's body was born to eat for life.
The part most people don't know
98 percent of all pet food recalls come from the kibble side of the industry, including prescription kibble. Formulated diets with miscalculation of synthetics and high sugars lead to kidney, liver and gut problems.

RAW SQUAD DOG TIP
Loose stools? It's usually fixable at home.
Don't mix kibble or processed treats with raw food. Add a little more bone to the meal. Other common culprits: too many supplements, flea and tick medication, heartworm medication, antibiotics, dairy, stress, and recent vaccines. Still stuck? Book a free consult with one of our experts.

“A dog's digestive system is still that of a wild carnivore. You really can't go wrong with a natural, whole-food diet of meat, organ, and bone. And you can't go right with a processed, unnatural, grain-based or grain-free diet, no matter how the bag is labeled.”
